At Culture Jam, we believe that every young person has the potential to become a powerful force for positive change in the world.
Our mission is to provide a transformative and immersive experience that empowers youth to tap into their creativity, connect with diverse perspectives, experience the natural world and discover their inner strengths.
We encourage our youth to explore their passions, experiment with new ideas, and discover ways to take action on issues that matter to them. We are committed to creating a safe and inclusive community that welcomes youth from all backgrounds.
Through a combination of art-based experiential learning, outdoor exploration, and self-discovery, we aim to help youth develop a strong sense of self-awareness, empathy, and resilience. We believe that by fostering a deep understanding and appreciation of different cultures, and connecting with nature, we can help create a more equitable and sustainable world.
Who We Are
Culture Jam is a non-profit camp for ages 14-18 that operates as a philanthropic effort of the Oregon Country Fair and individual donors. Because of this amazing community and its desire to create positive impact in local and global communities, we continue to flourish. Thank you!
Financial Contribution
The tuition of this camp has ,historically, been kept intentionally low to create access for everyone who wants to come. This year we have transformed our tuition system to create equity and access for all! Culture Jam is now on a true “Sliding Scale” system.
That means for CJ 2024 each family will choose the amount that works for them. From $0-$750.
Our goal is to make sure financial circumstances do not interfere with a teen’s ability to attend camp. The world we want to live in has access and accessibility for all.
